Hanover Care has been supplying Nursery staff to nurseries and pre-school playgroups since 2000. We offer Qualified and Unqualified nursery workers to our clients, as well as Nursery Managers on both a short-term or permanent basis.
Registration Process
Each Nursery Nurse goes through our thorough recruitment process which includes a full face-to-face interview with our consultant who discusses their work history and experience, assesses their suitability and checks relevant paperwork. All our nursery nurses have a minimum of 2 references including their current or most recent employment, and these references cover a minimum of 2 – 5 years. A copy of their qualification is taken, together with their eligibility to work and an Enhanced CRB Disclosure is obtained.

Thanks to our thorough recruitment process, and ongoing communication with our staff, we are able to identify the work that they are seeking and the settings that they would be best for. Combine this with our pride in getting to know our client’s needs via ongoing monitoring, and this explains why we are able to best match our staff to your bookings.
Permanent staffing
As well as ad-hoc shifts, many clients use us to recruit their permanent Nursery Nurses. Saving on expensive advertising and wasted recruitment time, we can resource from a wide range of contacts, and we also have new candidates constantly approaching us. Therefore, after gaining a firm idea of the vacancy on offer, we can pre-select candidates that fit with your needs. Alternatively, we offer a ‘Temp to Perm’ service, as we understand that personality matching is just as important as finding the right skill set. Once the nurse has worked 50 shifts, a working interview if you like, they can become a permanent member of staff without any fee.
